Hello dear Dmitry,
Our slug barrels are 21.3mm on the outside surface and 18.50 mm inside, barrel thickness for slugs are 1.4mm's.
For the high rib barrels, your calculations are mostly correct, 21.10mm outside and 18.7 mm inside, thus barrel thickness is 1.30 mm's
It is the same dimensions with browning backbore barrels
Where does it say 2 mm's?
We are an industrial corporation manufacturing a lot of parts and guns for different corporations, most of production is private label for other brands that is why we don't put everything we make on our own website. For impala plus, there will be soon an
www.impalaplus.com and for the Monza .308 Rifle, we are working on
www.monzarifle.com . They are not ready yet, that's the reason we don't open them to public
Also, steel we use in our barrels are best in the world and we are the only factory in and around Turkey that have an internal crack control machine, you can see in this video; time: 00:49 . That machine checks if there is a difference in the material hardness, is there any cracks inside that is not visible on the surface and also difference in density. Each and every barrel controlled that way, that is why making the barrel heavier just in case is not necessary in our production. We never experienced an issue with our barrels and we sell 80% of our production to USA. They would have killed us with law suits if we had any problems in 15 years
Sorry, we don't speak Russian.. There must be a mistake in the dimensions.
Then maybe in the translation, I will watch now. But I can assure you that you don't need 2mm thickness in this type of steel. That was necessary when you don't have flexibility in the material. They will be unnecessarily heavy and just mess with the balance of the gun
